Our Mission

The mission of Caring For Life is “to provide the communities of north and central Brevard County with professional and compassionate health care for dogs, cats, birds, and exotics within a caring and friendly environment”. We provide treatment by way of state-of- the-art full service veterinary hospitals that offer advanced medical, surgical, and dental care, as well as nutritional counseling, professional grooming, and obedience training.

Our Vision

The focus of Caring For Life, Inc. is “to be the veterinary health care facility of choice in our community through focused, persistent client service, and to consistently pursue and achieve excellence in our health care team through continuing education, professional development, effective leadership, and staff communication.”

Species We Provide Care For – Our practice is dedicated to improving and maintaining the health of most of God’s smaller creatures. As a matter of fact, we provide care for all dogs, all cats, and just about any exotic animal requiring care.

Yearly Check-ups – Annual exams include a comprehensive medical history, physical examination, appropriate vaccinations and laboratory testing.

Vaccinations – Vaccines are necessary to prevent infectious diseases. Radiology – X-ray is a useful tool for screening conditions of the lungs, skeletal system, and abdomen.

Endoscopy – Endoscopy allows us to see into the stomach, intestines, lungs and nose of your pet to aid us in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Ultrasound – Ultrasound adds dimension and aids in diagnosing and evaluating diseases of the liver, kidney, heart and many other organs. It is also used for pregnancy diagnosis.

Laboratory Testing – The majority of our laboratory testing is performed in our hospital using advanced laboratory equipment. We also use outside labs for specialized testing or where they are more economical.

EKG - Electrocardiograms tell us about the electrical activity of the heart. We use it to diagnose cardiac arrhythmias.

Dental care – We have a fully equipped dental suite, providing dental x-rays and high speed dental care, including cleaning, polishing, and extractions.

Nutritional Counseling – We believe in the importance of good nutrition, and can make recommendations for your pet based on its medical need. We carry a full line of maintenance and prescription diets to better serve your pet’s nutritional therapeutic needs.

Medicine – We maintain the highest standard of care through advanced medical services and thorough diagnostic testing and procedures

Bathing – We offer routine bathing as well as medicated shampoos and dips. We also have full time grooming available at both hospitals.

Boarding – We offer boarding for a wide variety of species including dogs, cats, ferrets, skunks, birds, reptiles and most exotic pets. We believe a clean and sanitary environment is beneficial to the health and well being of your pet. Our trained kennel staff is qualified and caring and will offer your pet the special attention they need while you are away.
