Dr. Maria E. Alvey, DVM
Dr. Maria E. Alvey is originally from Puerto Rico . Dr. Alvey attended the University of Puerto Rico where she received a Bachelor Degree of Science in 1990. She received a Marine Biology Degree at the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico in 1992. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University in 1996. Dr. Alvey has practiced veterinary medicine in Ohio and Tampa Bay , FL. She joined Port St. John Veterinary Hospital in 1997. Her interests include small animal medicine and surgery.
