What to Expect During Your First Visit at Port St. John Veterinary Hospital
When you arrive for your appointment, you’ll be greeted warmly, and we will welcome you into an examination room as soon as one becomes available. Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time.
Though we have plans in place for emergencies, there may be times when unexpected delays arise. We will do everything we can to minimize these circumstances as much as possible.
Typically, you’ll first meet a veterinary technician, who will collect information about your pet and pass it along to the veterinarian. When the veterinarian comes into the room, they will examine your pet, answer any questions, and discuss further diagnostics or treatment plans as needed.
You’ll usually meet with the technician again to wrap up the visit. The vet technician will provide you with additional educational information, answer routine wellness questions, and address any care-related concerns you may have.
Our client care specialists handle billing, and before you leave, you can speak with them to schedule any follow-up appointments for your pet.
